YPO Forum Confidential with Dr. Heather Richardson

During my time leading thinkThin® (now think!®), I felt a deep responsibility to use the brand as a force for good; especially in the fight against cancer. Partnering with organizations like Susan G. Komen, we turned purpose into action through one of my favorite initiatives: a vibrant fashion show at Expo West that raised over $250,000 for cancer research and brought together survivors, retailers, and sponsors in a celebration of strength and hope. Survivors walked the runway in stunning custom gowns made from thinkThin® wrappers that we auctioned off. It was proof that when business aligns with purpose, the impact goes far beyond the shelf. 

That same belief in purpose-driven impact inspired me to create the YPO Women’s Wellness Circle, a safe space to empower YPO women by using health as a conduit for learning, growth, and meaningful engagement. As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, let’s continue the conversation about prevention and women’s health.
