AI Can Help Build Your Brand. Your Judgment Still Builds Trust

When I started thinkThin, I did not have a tool that could give me ten headlines before my coffee got cold. I had to listen to people, notice what was missing, and decide what I believed the brand could stand for.

Today, AI can help a founder move faster. I use it to explore ideas, organize research, test a headline, or turn a conversation into a rough first draft. Those are useful starting points.

The harder question is how to tell good output from bad. I ask: Is this accurate? Does it sound like something I would actually say? Does it help the person reading it?

If the answer is no, I keep working. AI can produce a convincing statement that is wrong, so I check facts and sources before I share anything under my name. NIST identifies this risk in its guidance on generative AI (https://lnkd.in/gsbY_yRu?).

A brand grows when people recognize your point of view and learn they can trust it. AI can help you express that point of view, but you still have to put in the work and develop it.
