The Four Numbers Every Woman Should Know

Over the last two decades, I’ve sat with world-class physicians, scientists, and wellness leaders. The message is clear: longevity isn’t a mystery, it’s measurable - and once it’s measurable, it’s manageable.

At our Women’s Wellness events, I focus on the metrics that truly reveal how your body is aging - not vanity numbers, but vitality numbers. Four core biomarkers give women a roadmap to change their health trajectory:

ApoB & CRP: Your inflammation and artery scorecard. ApoB shows cardiovascular risk, CRP reveals inflammation. Together, they uncover silent damage long before a major event.

VO₂ Max: Measures how efficiently your body and brain use oxygen. It predicts longevity, reflects heart-lung-brain fitness, and is highly trainable. Small changes in movement can make a big difference.

Fasting Insulin: The earliest warning for metabolic decline. Blood sugar lags; insulin leads. Early insight lets women intervene before energy, mood, sleep, and metabolism are affected.

GGT: The overlooked marker for liver health and oxidative stress. It reveals toxin load, inflammation, and system resilience - key for women managing hormones, stress, and modern life.

Women are told to “listen to their bodies,” but rarely given the tools to measure what they’re saying. These four biomarkers change that, they offer precision, agency, and clarity.

This is the future of women’s health: proactive, data-driven, and empowering. Every woman deserves to know her numbers, understand them, and have a plan to improve them.

Because longevity isn’t just adding years, it’s adding vitality to every year ahead.

To your vitality,

Lizanne
